Qualifications – Bachelor of Education Honours (BEd Hons) in Primary and Early Years Education, specialising in IT, NPQML, National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders.  

PG diploma QTVI (qualifications in visual impairment),  

Deborah joined the Outreach Team in 2022 as advisory teacher of the vision impaired.  

She had previously been working at Joseph Clarke School for pupils with visual impairment and additional needs for 8 years gaining extensive knowledge and experience teaching pupils aged between 3 to 19, and where she trained to become a qualified teacher of the vision impaired. 

Previously to working at Joseph Clarke School Deborah spent 9 years working with pupils with social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties (SEMH) and taught for several years in mainstream primary schools. 

In her spare time, she likes socialising, traveling, dancing and walking her dogs.
